I study Media, Arts and Design @ Bauhaus University Weimar. I want to create media for independent ideas whose intentions are beyond the break-even. Whose impact is multidimensional.
This is a selection of projects I've made at the university or as side projects.
Taxibetrieb Thomas Schulze is a 30-year-old taxi business southerly of Berlin. The project features a branding and an adaptive web solution that offers perfectly attuned content for not only stationary but also mobile use cases. The mobile view offers features matching to the needs of the customer by offering quick access to contact information, services and pricing plans. On top of that, the mobile view is 100% vector based which concludes in top of the line loading speeds.
For the first time ever, the backup festival in Weimar will have a mobile app to accompany festival visitors in 2016. The group designed the app from scratch, which means that the project includes conception, market research, wireframing, UI design and much more. The project is still WIP, but we are very ambitious to launch the app in early summer 2016. Backup Festival is a student-driven short film festival in Weimar. Be sure to check it out!
The motivation to redesign the official library app evolved from the frustration using the app that was already there at the time. Doing it as a semester project, I rethought the structure and the features that a student would need most using the library in the digital age. Apart from that, I also tried giving the app a unique look inspired by traditional book aesthetics. Due to the private APIs of the library management software, this mockup will remain as a concept.
